Hello World
Can saying “hello” save a life? In some cases, it can, but for most of us, it can lead to a happier, more productive, and abundant life—one that could keep us from entering the gates of isolation sitting alone, quietly, away from crowds. We are biologically wired for deep connection, yet today’s world offers little of it and, if anything, actively works against it. Things will only get worse as Artificial intelligence matures at an astounding pace.
Here’s what we know for sure. According to recent studies, meaning isn’t found in working ourselves to death, isolation, or rallying behind politicians or temporal institutions. It’s found in commitment, contribution, and connection to people and places that require being a part of you. Perhaps it’s time to move away from today’s competitive culture and reinvest by giving the best of ourselves away to something bigger than ourselves, something that combats loneliness, serves others, and gives our lives true purpose and meaning. Then maybe we can watch as our country climbs the stairs to the top of the World Happiness Report before our 100th birthday!
Together, we can teach others to listen and put an end to the grief, sorrow, and senseless acts of desperation. Most of all, an authentic life can begin with a simple hello to a friend, family member, co-worker, or perfect stranger. True meaning in life doesn’t just make life better; it makes it longer. While we are at it, our collective mental health could use an immediate mandated check-up, particularly among our youth.
No matter where I am today
If well or feeling low
I’ll come before my God and say
I’ve come to say hello
Then, as we talk, I’ll stretch my hand.
I’ll find my Fathers’s own
We’ll touch once more, and I’ll understand
In Christ, I’m not alone
From deep inside the truth, I’ll speak.
There’s no need to shout.
With heart and soul his face I’ll seek
Of this, I have no doubt
I’ll thank my God for making me
The truth, the way, and the life
My daily bread and the wine of salvation
That’s how to God I will pray
How I’ll say hello from time to time
Hello, hello, hello. Is there anyone there? Can you hear me?

I hear you loud and clear!! I will continue to fervently pray for our children and grandchildren to learn from us the importance of faith , hope, love and charity. When we give of ourselves we will get it back tenfold. Hello world and God bless us all.

I hear you loud and clear!! I’ll continue to pray fervently for God to guide us with our children and to teach them acts of kindness, patience and generosity. Actions DO speak louder than words and we teach by example. Our greatest gifts are faith, love, hope and charity. When we give of ourselves , unselfishly, it always comes back tenfold! Hello and God bless every one of us.
