Manifesting Life’s Purpose

Manifesting Life’s Purpose

Now more than ever, each of us needs to find a way to come to terms with the road we will travel down to discover who we are, our purpose for being here, and what lies ahead that will help us fulfill our destiny. But to do that, we must first be true to ourselves. Our destiny is our true selfhood, given to us by God as a task that is to be faithfully pursued. Our fate is to become the kind of person that God intends us to become. How can we fulfill our destiny (or even know what it is)? Here are a few suggestions that helped me. Perhaps they may help you!

First, we need a disciplined heart, a kindred spirit, and a healthy imagination. Together they can keep us connected to reality and open our minds to an entirely new world of endless possibilities.

Listen to people of wisdom in today’s world and the wisdom of the ages to help “shake us up”  to see who we truly are.

Don’t fear detours because mountains, cliffs, and dead-end signs are just places to turn around. Even failure, tragedy, and losses can, in hindsight, be seen as a rueful blessing.

Depend on God’s grace. Without it, we are incapable of fulfilling, or even seeing a glimpse, of our destinies. Right now you may be looking into a dimly lit mirror, but through God’s grace, you will come to know yourself even as you are known by God.

Make each day your teacher and let it lead you where it wants to go. Destiny can never be “figured out”, It can only be revealed by trusting God and following what feels right. None of us knows for sure that we are pursuing the right path. We must learn to trust our hearts, our gut, and our feelings.

Destiny is not a matter of chance. It’s a matter of choice. When you know what you want, take action. Get going and keep on going no matter how you feel. Break your big destiny into smaller doable pieces and feed them to your head every minute of every waking moment.

I have discovered that indecision is the thief of opportunity and personal growth. Discover who you are and what you want out of life because no one else can do that for you.

“Where is it I must go?”

 Is there truly something missing

I think I have yet to wander far enough

To make a difference

Things always seem to be getting in my way

If you ask who this is

It’s not that important

That a man even has a name

For what purpose does it serve

A man with a name only seeks praise

I wonder if I will be judged

By those there beyond me makers of the stars

Whose wisdom works of words are taken for granted

Idling at stop signs where you looked both ways

And as a child, you listened to time and time again

And your life has not been dull, but worth the effort

Yet there remain so many tiny little things”

Blessings,

These words are so true! As we travel through life’s roads, we sometimes make wrong turns. I have always found a place to turn around. I firmly believe that God has a purpose for everyone. If we seek His guidance, He will help us to make better choices. We have to play the cards we are dealt with intelligence and faith. As we learn from past experiences, we can reflect on what our gains and losses have been. Shall we dare to trust in the Almighty and not only pray for our needs to be met, but we should expect it!! Doubt creates confusion. May our minds and hearts be set to take the path of least resistance. That means trusting in God !
