Gone But Never To Be Forgotten

I was deeply moved by the senseless and brutal death of 11-year-old Jeremiah Huff. Although I never had the privilege of meeting him, his death has left a deep feeling of remorse in my heart and soul that I know will never go away. It will be a constant reminder of the children who are victims of child abuse and domestic violence; something all of us can do something about. It is essential to understand that this is a responsibility we all share. There must be no exceptions. It must become a matter of conscience; a duty that we must begin now and share with every child. We must teach them, through our diligence, that every life is precious, so that it becomes an integral part of them and an essential part of their life’s work here on earth. I am convinced that through these efforts, our dearly beloved Jeremiah’s life will be a star shining down from beyond the gates of Heaven. A constant reminder of his life and the sanctity of life, which must be protected at any cost. 

To this end, I have dedicated my new website, youandmeus.com, as a constant tribute to Jeremiah’s life. I will never forget him, and I will make sure his memory lives on forever. Please join me on this personal journey to discover who you are and the depth of your love in the quest to help others, like Jeremiah and those like us here in Central New York. My goal is to create a permanent stone memorial next to the one in remembrance of the 3 Sgroi children who lost their lives in a fire in 2008.
