I Believe

Wired To Love

To have a belief one must have confidence in the truth, the existence, or the reliability of something, although without absolute truth that one is right in doing so.

I believe:
That the truth will allow us the freedom to be who we are
That we can only find the truth if we seek it,
That there is an absolute truth,
That talk is cheap, and reactions can be explosive,
That if we live and walk in the truth, we can create peace in the world,
That if we give peace a chance, chances are we can have it,
That a dead end is just another place to turn around,
That if you put your help where your hope is, you can unlock yourself,
That isolation is not a good destination,
That sticks and stones will break my bones, but names will hurt me more,
That life is not a bowl of cherries, but a bowl of fresh fruit that must be shared immediately or it can turn to sour grapes,
That Memory Lane is a one-way street and what you do today becomes tomorrow’s memory, so be careful what you say and what you do,
That at the beginning of a life of giving lives a beautiful heart,
Whoever cares, tries, and never lies,
If you are looking for unconditional love, a kiss on the cheek when you need it most, someone to always lay close to you with heavy breathing when you get sick, then you should get a dog,
I believe that the word “whatever”, should have a new meaning, such as “What can I do to make things better”,
That a deep sense of love for others is essential to feeling satisfied with your life,
That we are biologically, cognitively, physically, and spiritually cabled to belong.
I believe the Creator of the universe is my spiritual guide and soulmate.
