What A Wonderful World

What A Wonderful World

A wonderful world would be one where people genuinely care for each other’s well-being. Where communities would thrive with kindness as the default- neighbors helping neighbors, people listening to understand rather than to respond.

Basic needs would be met for everyone, with no one going hungry, being homeless, or lacking access to education and healthcare. People would have the freedom to pursue work that feels meaningful to them, not just to survive.

There’d be a real commitment to protecting the natural world, and people would understand we are all connected to the limitless bounty of nature. Cities would be beautiful and livable, with green spaces and room for both solitude and community.

Diversity would be celebrated. Different cultures, perspectives, and ways of thinking would enrich society rather than divide it. People would be curious about one another rather than fearful. There would be space for creativity, play, and wonder. People wouldn’t be just grinding away- they’d have time to pursue art, pursue hobbies, spend time with loved ones, and simply enjoy being alive.

Most importantly, there would be a shared sense of responsibility. People would understand that everyone’s well-being is interconnected, and they’d act accordingly. It wouldn’t be perfect, but it would build on hope, compassion, and a genuine belief in each other’s worth.

I see trees of green,
red roses too.
I see them bloom,
for me and you.
And I think to myself,
what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue,
And clouds of white.
The bright blessed day,
The dark sacred night.
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful world.

The colors of the rainbow,
So pretty in the sky.
Are also on the faces,
Of people going by,
I see friends shaking hands.
Saying, “How do you do?”
They’re really saying,
“I love you”.

I hear babies cry,
I watch them grow,
They’ll learn much more,
Than I’ll ever know.
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful world.

Yes, I think to myself,
What a wonderful world.

“You are more than the Earth, though you are such a dot. You can love and think, the Earth cannot.

“Have a wonderful day, dear friends!

What a wonderful sequence of habits we should create to encourage the wonderful world we live in to become more wonderful! It all begins at home with how we raise our children and instill in them a sense of purpose to be responsible for their part in making the world a better place. Our interactions with each other at home will carry into our relationships with others. If we look for the inner beauty, it will always be there to manifest itself in our hearts and souls. Our vision would be 20/20 in a perfect world. God bless us with corrective vision!!
