Deliverance

There are times when a desperate situation seems bleak with no way out. When desperation
leads a horse gifted into the hands of one woman who lives to love horses; she breathed life back to an outstanding Morgan horse with a pedigree that would be the envy of any “showy” equine It’s a mutual admiration society of the horsey kind that could only be appreciated by those who worship the creator of all breeds of horses. Not all horses standing in line on death row have fate knock at their stall door to be rescued from certain demise. A horse with only a vain hope for deliverance stood alone at death’s door, but despite all its great strength, it could not save itself.
Ranger was one of the lucky ones. Suffering from arthritis from years as an Amish buggy horse, he was rescued by an equine rescue who discovered his outstanding lineage.
With such a remarkable ancestry, he was purchased by someone who wanted him for dressage, but because of the intensity of arthritis, he could no longer hold up to the rigorous training. A very qualified horsewoman then purchased him, but due to the lack of time she could spend with him, she found a good home with a very deserving owner with unfailing love and devotion. Her name is Debbie Gaetano. Today, he is stabled in a wonderful training facility, Cazabu Farm in Cazenovia, New York, where Debbie has helped him regain strength, endurance, and a new life. She clothed his neck with a flowing mane and a tail that gestures to his new home and abundant freedom.
Historically, horses have symbolized strength, resilience, and courage, qualities often emphasized in the Bible. These verses remind us to trust in God for our strength and to remain steadfast in our faith, no matter what challenges we face. Their loyalty and willingness to serve reflect the call for Christians to live lives of faithful service to God and others, humbly carrying out the work set down before us.
“So, let us not get tired of doing what is good. When the time for us is right, we will reap the harvest of blessings if we never give up.”
Blessings, dear friends,
Naomi
What a great homage to a woman and a horse who found each other! What a wonderful world it would be if all humans could live in harmony and mimic the animal kingdom’s ability to trust and rely on each other. I once owned (rescued) a retired thoroughbred race horse! We bonded and encouraged each other to exercise our faith and overcome challenges that seemed insurmountable. . I found a great boarding facility nearby and acquired a quarter horse to join the “pack!” We “never gave up “ and my equine family lived out their years in comfort with 24 hr music therapy and my daily visits to go for a ride , only if all three of us could together!
