The Hairdresser
Where Psychology Meets Cosmetology
Synopsis
The hairdresser’s world has the remarkable ability to inspire an artistic soul, strengthen social and spiritual connections, and network with a diverse clientele. It’s a mutual, emotionally charged link to share, understand, and accept the feelings of another person. There are often times when they generate trust and reciprocal self-esteem while occasionally entering “mind fields” filled with secrets and anxieties engulfed with unrealistic, jaundiced, and unresolved issues. Due to the intricacy and complexity of everyday life, women often turn to the one person who is always available to enhance their appearance and boost their inner confidence. They come together not only to change hairstyles, but to change lives.
The relationship between a woman and her stylist is nothing short of astounding, especially if you’re a man. It’s a mutual connection that runs deep and unending. Throughout the narrative, you will find short, complex, deep, emotional, and occasionally humorous anecdotes that will inspire you and offer simple yet effective solutions to implement in your daily life, helping you become more understanding that there is little difference between the fundamental needs of men and women. By better understanding the “similarities”, you will be better equipped to appreciate the connection while becoming the person you were always meant to be.
To gain validity of my words, I have extracted simple and proven truths from science, spirituality, and ageless wisdom, which are factual, worthy, and worthwhile to be reintroduced into everyone’s ability to think. The most documented scholarly classroom regarding the study of human behavior can be found in the “cosmetology connection”. This wellspring of talking heads has been my research workshop for over 50 years, which has allowed me to gain insight into the minds of deep thinkers and those who choose to share their fears, anxieties, and everyday lives. These profound connections have allowed me to remain a thoughtful, informed, grateful, and accomplished hairdresser.
Please join me on a clear path to discover your authentic self, allowing a mind filled
with clarity, direction, and intention to flourish despite the negativity that seems to be
creeping around every corner. When you turn the last page, you may never have to
tread lightly through a “danger zone” filled with anger, hatred, and suspicion. You will
understand that, with the right amount of commitment and effort, you can begin to
connect, restore, and control the holistic view you were assigned at birth.
Emotional health management is an essential tool for maintaining a healthy mind and
for eliminating fear, anxiety, anger, and worry.
Blessings,

Naomi
Absolutely the truth!! I remember a saying : “ I am a cosmetologist, not a psychiatrist!” It turns out we are both! Anyone that has taken our profession seriously, knows that ! I found that my relationships with my male clients were really no different than the female clients. There are far less differences between male and female, when it comes to conversation from the heart, mind and soul.i had many interactions with clients where we both ended up feeling better by the end of the conversation and the service rendered. Emotional health and support are necessary for anyone to move forward and see a clear path ahead. May everyone have a blessed Palm Sunday
